Our Story
A small team of curators and designers based in Mumbai, spending most of our time traveling between workshops rather than sitting in an office. We select each item in person, checking the weave, the glaze, and the finish before it reaches our catalog.
Founded in 2019Independent artisans and family-run workshops in Jaipur, Sanganer, Bhuj, and Ahmedabad. Many have been practicing their craft for three or four generations, and we work with them on color palettes and product shapes that suit contemporary interiors.

What began as a search for one handwoven throw for a friend's wedding gift turned into a network of trusted workshops across Rajasthan and Gujarat. Each step of the journey shaped the way we select, describe, and deliver every piece.
A trip to Sanganer to source a single block-printed cotton throw. We met three families who had been printing fabric for four generations. The uneven edges and natural dye variations made us realize that perfection was not the goal - character was.
Instead of working through middlemen, we started buying directly from the workshops. This meant smaller batches, longer lead times, and honest conversations about pricing. In return, the artisans began sharing their techniques and material sources with us.
A potter in Bhuj showed us how his glazes reacted differently in each kiln firing. We committed to his imperfect plates and bowls, accepting that no two pieces would match exactly. Customers responded to the honesty of the finish.
We added natural fiber baskets from weavers in West Bengal, learning to identify which grasses hold their shape and which dyes fade gracefully. The baskets became our best-selling storage solution, not because of trends, but because they worked.
Our brass collection came from a small foundry in Jaipur that polishes each piece by hand. Wall hangings followed, made from recycled cotton and natural rope. We learned to describe each item's provenance in detail, so buyers knew exactly what they were getting.
Today, every product page includes the maker's name, the workshop location, and the specific technique used. We have grown from a single throw to a full collection, but the principle remains unchanged: source slowly, describe honestly, and let the craft speak for itself.
